We repaired the scalp defect and skull exposure with scalp expansion. The technique consisted of two stages. First, expander was implaned an then N. S injected to its enough volume. The size of the expander was estimated by the formula that 1 cm2 needs 4 ml expansive volume. The incision was made at normal skin. Second flap was transferred. The expander was removed and the external skull which was necrotic severed. There were five patient with eight flaps at all, followed up for 6 months to 1 year. The hair grew. The results were satisfactory. This method not only treated the disease, but also avoided alopecia.

The basic principles of volumetric scalp expansion are to (1) expand the bald scalp over a period of time with a balloon-type device implanted under the scalp, (2) collapse and withdraw the device when scalp expansion reaches a predetermined extent, (3) excise the excess scalp skin, (4) advance hair-bearing scalp to cover the area of bald scalp excision, and (5) suture the hair-bearing scalp to complete the correction of male-pattern hair loss.

Scalp extension and expansion may, in some patients, be useful in overcoming insufficient scalp laxity.

...beh non proprio in pochi secondi, perchè bisogna portare un coso sotto lo scalpo per un pò di tempo (settimane?), ma è assolutamente paragonabile a una maxi-dose di gf...con la pesante controindicazione che poi te lo devono ridurre di nuovo lo scalpo (e il zac-zac finale non è proprio piacevole)[V][V].
Nel primo studio, cmq, vi è una patologia in corso, e non è solo una questione di estetica. Quindi questa procedura ha risolto una necrosi in corso, e permesso allo stesso tempo di non avere alopecia.
Il mio parere, come ho già detto, è che la fascia abbia un suo perchè, fino a quando si è attenti a stringerla al punto giusto per i propri scopi (altrimenti può essere controproducente).

sotto lo scalpo e poi fanno un'incisione!

Ronny ti rispondo con una domanda zen[]: Secondo te perchè tutti i praticanti GF affermano che dopo un certo intervallo di tempo lo scalpo diventa più molle (la lassità dello scalpo aumenta)?

Una volta che avrai trovato la risposta a questo interrogativo tutto diventerà chiaro[]
