TB4(Thymosin Beta 4)
TB4 is a chemo-attractant for cells, stimulates new blood vessel growth (angiogenesis), downregulates cytokines.
Background info: TB4 as a topical hair loss treatment
TB4 is a chemo-attractant for cells, stimulates new blood vessel growth (angiogenesis), downregulates cytokines... It has been suggested that these are the main reasons why it stimulates hair growth. Micro-blood vessel formation around hair follicles is important for the health of follicles, and cytokines are main offenders that cause follicle inflammation probably as an immuno response to DHT.
Since this TB4 peptide is naturally occurring, it does not require expensive production cost. There are solid research on TB4 done by government researchers at NHI.
